El Potrero Mexican Restaurant - Authentic Flavors and Generous Portions in Swartz Creek

I only did takeout, so my experience might differ from those who dine in, but wow—Potrero blows the usual fast-food Mexican places (Chipotle or Qdoba) out of the water, especially for the price. My order was ready on time, and the portions were huge. My favorite part? The chips and queso. They give you a whole bag of chips (no skimping here!) and enough queso for the entire family—something you definitely don’t get at the competitors. And honestly, the flavor is just better. I used to be a big Chipotle fan, but I’m getting more food for less money at Potrero. Great portions, great taste—highly recommend!

Chips and salsa are on point and delicious, then we added guacamole, and it was over!! So yummy, that's why we ended up with so much leftover. LoL!! The tacos, Flauntos, taco Supreme dinner was perfect! Service was great, very friendly, and we were greeted by the staff. The restaurant was clean.

Bect Mexican food here. Lupe is the best manager ever. Go here and ask for her, she's awesome.

While working nearby for a couple months the team would frequently visit for lunch. They have affordable lunch combos that taste great and full you up.

We used El Potrero for catering an open house! Food was delicious and received many compliments on the burritos and enchiladas. It all was great! Thank you! Food was ready when stated, came in foil pans that were easily placed in chaffing dishes to keep warm. Will definitely recommend to others.

We absolutely love this place. Guacamole is so flavorful. Wait staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Our order arrived at our table in mere minutes.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we had ever been to! Wow, unexpected. We have lived in the area for a year and haven't ventured out as much, so glad we did the other day!!!! Yum will definitely be coming back!
